who am i?

My name is Asil Zamil, I am a Graphic and Web Designer based in Montreal.

Even though I have a bachelor degree in computer engineering with more than 10 years of experience in the field back in Dubai, I realized I wanted to be a designer since then and tried to be involved in this whenever I had the chance but not in a professional way just as a hoppy. I loved conceptualizing ideas and seeing them come to fruition. I was hooked. So, when immigrate to Montreal I decided to follow my passion and build up my career from scratch as a graphic designer. Completing the John Abbott Graphic and Web Design program has helped me to improve my previous skills, as well as add a ton of new tools to my tool box!

During the programme I have worked on a variety of different projects, such as branding, marketing materials, packaging, publications, greeting cards, album covers, UI/UX web design and more. I am creative, equipped with the ability to work functionally, within a team environment, or independently.

My strengths include time management, organization, problem-solving, and always meeting deadlines.
